AREA OF PRODUCTION
Vineyards are in the Bardolino Classico area, in the villages of Bardolino, Cavaion, Lazise and Garda, a historic and splendid landscape along the southern-eastern shores of Lake Garda.
Traditionally, Chiaretto is obtained by cold maceration of the must on the skins for a single night. Today, a part of the must makes just a few hours maceration, to obtain a very light colour. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures of between 16° and 18°C in order to enhance the expression of the wine’s fruity and floral aromas.
It has a light color with shades of lychee and peach. Citrus and floral notes at the nose, accompanied by herbal hints reminecent of sage. It has good acidity and sapidity. Long acidity and aromas of citrus fruits and lemon in the end
